Inside Each Issue

In the winter school holidays, my father asked my brother and me if we wanted to visit our grandparents.

We were over the moon hearing daddy’s offer. “That would make us so happy, dad!”, we replied.

Our grandparents live in a forest village, and it is so nice in winter. My mum said: “That is an excellent idea. We will bring them great joy and receive their blessings. However, the winter has been hard so far. Can we make it to the village?” My father said: “I’ve already made some winter preparations. I replaced the car’s tyres with winter ones. I put tyre chains in my boot as well.”

I Don't Know

Two children were talking on theirway back from school:

“Do you still have toothache?”

“I don’t know, it probably stopped.”

“What do you mean you don’t know? Surely, a person knows whether their teeth are aching or not.”

“How am I supposed to know? The dentist didn’t give my tooth to me after he extracted it. It remained there with him.”

I have not seen it

Murad had an enormous appetite, and he would love to eat something from the fridge at night. One night, Murad woke up, ate some snacks from the fridge, and went back to bed.

The next morning his mum called him angrily:

“What happened to the pastries in the fridge? There is only one left!”

Murad answered,:

“Mum, it was very dark at night, I couldn’t see that one!”
